Northern Redemption ist eine Melodic Metal Band aus Schweden, die von Thomas Furustig (Gitarre) im Sommer 2020 gegründet wurde. Thomas entschied sich nach 10 Jahren seine alte Band zu verlassen, um einen neuen Weg zu beschreiten und Musik zu machen, die ihm am Herzen liegt. Die Suche nach passenden Bandmitgliedern dauerte nicht lange und mit den Freunden Pontus Nilsson (Bass), Mattias Åström (Drums) und Andreas Larsson (Gitarre) startete die Kreativität Songs zu gestalten so schnell, dass sie fast ein wichtiges Detail übersehen hätten: wer singt eigentlich? Doch auch hier wurden die motivierten Jungs schnell fündig und Jocke Lundqvist (Gesang) vervollständigte die Band. Diese erfahrenen Musiker, mit Wurzeln aus den 80gern, zeigen, dass mit Feuer im Blut und Liebe zum Rock & Metal in kurzer Zeit bereits ein Juwel geschaffen werden kann. So veröffentlichte Northern Redemption bereits im Januar 2021 mit „Spiritwalker“ die erste Single, welcher kurzerhand auch ein Lyricvideo folgte. Denn von so Kleinigkeiten wie einer Pandamie lassen sich diese Powerjungs nicht ausbremsen. Die Energie dieser Jungs sowie ihre Debütsingle haben uns sofort überzeugt, daher ist Nothern Redemption selbstverständlich bei Metal Crash Radio zu hören. Wir alle sind gespannt und freuen uns bereits heute auf die Veröffentlichung des gesamten Albums, welche für April 2021 geplant ist. Northern Redemption is a melodic metal band from Sweden, founded by Thomas Furustig (guitar) in the summer of 2020. Thomas decided to leave his old band after 10 years to go a new way and make music that is close to his heart. The search for suitable band members didn’t take long and with friends Pontus Nilsson (bass), Mattias Åström (drums) and Andreas Larsson (guitar) the creativity to create songs started so fast that they almost overlooked an important detail: who is actually singing? But here too, the motivated guys quickly found what they were looking for and Jocke Lundqvist (vocals) completed the band. These experienced musicians, with roots from the 80s, show that with fire in the blood and love for rock & metal, a jewel can already be created in a short time. Thus, Northern Redemption already published in January 2021 with „Spiritwalker“ the first single, which was quickly followed by a lyric video. Because from such trifles as a pandemic these power guys do not let themselves be thwarted. The energy of these guys as well as their debut single convinced us right away, so of course Nothern Redemption can be heard at Metal Crash Radio.
